各獨立的U型玻璃構件應支撐在具有均勻彈性的襯墊上。

玻璃與臨近的金屬件、混凝土和砂漿結構之間不能有硬性接觸。

在U型玻璃的上端與更高處的建筑物件（如過梁、大梁、屋面板等）之間必須留有縫隙。

U型玻璃上端與臨近的上部結構之間的空氣縫隙不應小于25mm，以應付其變形，便于安裝更換。

必須用彈性密封材料填充U型玻璃之間的縱縫。

密封材料，通常有二組分的聚硫塑料、硅銅膠、柔性聚氯乙烯型材等，用于U型玻璃與固定件、U形玻璃條之間的密封。

圓繩，用于U型玻璃與邊框之間的密封。

條形襯墊、柔性聚氯乙烯型材、浸過瀝青的條帶、硬泡沫塑料等，用作U型玻璃與邊框之間的脹縫和滑縫。

The end and surface of the U-shaped glass shall have no jagged gaps or cracks.
Each independent U-shaped glass member shall be supported on a liner with uniform elasticity.
There is no hard contact between the glass and the adjacent metal parts, concrete and mortar structures.
There must be a gap between the upper end of U-shaped glass and higher building objects(such as beams, beams, house panels, etc.).
The air gap between the upper end of the U-shaped glass and the adjacent superstructure should not be less than 25mm to cope with its deformation and facilitate installation and replacement.
The longitudinal seam between U-shaped glass shall be filled with elastic sealing material.
Sealed materials, usually two-component polysulfur plastics, Silicon copper glue, flexible polyvinyl chloride profiles, etc., are used for sealing between U-glass and fixed parts and U-shaped glass bars.
Round rope, used for sealing between U-shaped glass and the border.
Bar liners, flexible PVC profiles, tarmac strips, hard foams, etc., are used as bulging and sliding seams between U-glass and borders.
